Marianne “MJ” Winget-Jones

Marianne has been a valuable member of the Ridout Barrett team since 2021. She currently serves as a client accounting consultant, working in the firm’s Client Accounting Services Department. In this capacity, she works with construction companies, helping them utilize the Sage 100 Contractor system to the fullest extent of its capabilities. She performs both training and troubleshooting, along with daily duties aimed at helping her clients succeed. A professional in the accounting sector since 2012, MJ’s previous experience includes 11 years as an assistant controller and construction project analyst. Prior to that, she spent 13 years in the insurance industry.  

A helpful and friendly professional, Marianne seeks to always treat others the way that she would like to be treated. Her love for problem solving inspired her to pursue a career in the accounting field, and she credits her success in the field to her hard work.  

Born and raised in Austin, Marianne currently lives in Cedar Park, a major suburb of the city. She loves the Austin area for the beauty that it offers, including lakes, rivers, hiking trails, waterfalls, and small towns in the country hills. Marianne and her partner, Christian, have three daughters and one grandson. In her free time, Marianne enjoys refinishing and repurposing furniture, collecting soundtracks on vinyl, and perusing thrift stores and garage sales. When she has the opportunity to travel, Marianne’s favorite destination is Yosemite National Park.
