Meet Our Team – Lisa Good
Lisa became a part of the RBC team in 2015. In her role as an associate manager, Lisa is responsible for audit planning, execution, supervision, and completion. She also works closely with the firm’s Construction and Not-for-Profit clients, assisting them in the areas of assurance and tax.
Lisa is a lifelong Texas resident and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. She is the proud mom of Taylor, her daughter, two Chihuahuas, and at least eight cats. When not at work, Lisa can be found doing puzzles, reading, crafting, working on home remodeling, and even studying Korean to understand the lyrics of songs by her favorite group, BTS.

I enjoy mystery, detective, true crime shows, and K-Dramas.
What is your favorite part about working at RBC?
The opportunity to learn something new every day.
What is the one thing, you can’t live without?
Family, friends and animals.
What professional accomplishment of yours are you most proud of?
Obtaining my CPA license.
What would you be doing if you weren’t in Accounting?
I would pursue a career in Forensic Science.
What’s something that may surprise people to know about you?
I discovered BTS during the pandemic and I am fascinated with the whole Korean culture, language, K-Pop, K-Dramas, etc. I just started using the Duolingo app and I am committed to making an effort to learn the language (I may not speak it, but I want to understand it!).
If you could pick one person to be your mentor (living or dead, fictional or real), who would you choose?
I would choose Patty Wetz. I am so fortunate to have someone within our firm who has significantly contributed to my growth and learning over the past few years.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Teleporting! I am not the best traveler – I have fun when I get to the destination, but the actual “travel” part, like driving or waiting for hours at the airport, I could do without.
