Audit Manager

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree
  • Seven to ten years recent public accounting experience
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively multi-task
  • Ability to maintain strict confidence of sensitive information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and effectively handle conflicting demands
  • Ability to supervise and mentor staff
  • Ability to efficiently manage projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite including Word and Excel
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Demonstrate a solid work ethic
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAS and GAAP
  • Know the AICPA Code of Ethics and follow in daily practice 

Duties:

  • Develop a strong knowledge of the firm’s structure, policies, procedures, client base and external business relationships
  • Manage the completion of audit engagements and  guide staff members in conducting audits and preparing financial statements to include planning, budgeting, assessing audit risk and establishing scope
  • Perform on-site audit engagements including fieldwork, planning and report preparation
  • Assist clients with accounting issues
  • Maintain a comprehensive approach to understanding our client’s business
  • Maintain professional client communications and relationships
  • Develop and maintain audit and accounting knowledge
  • Prepare financial statements and identify areas for improvement in clients’ systems
