Audit Manager
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree
- Seven to ten years recent public accounting experience
- Certified Public Accountant
- Ability to efficiently and effectively multi-task
- Ability to maintain strict confidence of sensitive information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills and effectively handle conflicting demands
- Ability to supervise and mentor staff
- Ability to efficiently manage projects
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite including Word and Excel
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and quality
- Demonstrate a solid work ethic
- Thorough knowledge of GAAS and GAAP
- Know the AICPA Code of Ethics and follow in daily practice
Duties:
- Develop a strong knowledge of the firm’s structure, policies, procedures, client base and external business relationships
- Manage the completion of audit engagements and guide staff members in conducting audits and preparing financial statements to include planning, budgeting, assessing audit risk and establishing scope
- Perform on-site audit engagements including fieldwork, planning and report preparation
- Assist clients with accounting issues
- Maintain a comprehensive approach to understanding our client’s business
- Maintain professional client communications and relationships
- Develop and maintain audit and accounting knowledge
- Prepare financial statements and identify areas for improvement in clients’ systems
