Rebeca Garcia

“Always ask questions.”

Rebeca joined RBC in 2023 and serves as a senior in the Client Accounting Services department. She is an alumnus of the University of Texas at San Antonio and brings nearly 25 years of experience as an accounting professional to the firm. In her daily work, she performs accounting services for clients, including journal entries, payroll, payroll tax returns, and month-end and year-end closings.

Rebeca was initially inspired to pursue accounting by her older sister, Toni, and Toni’s husband, Gilbert, who are both CPAs. A determined and analytical individual, she attributes her strong work ethic to the example set by her father, who never missed a day of work. Her philosophy is summed up by her favorite quote from John Wooden: “If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?”

Currently, Rebeca resides in her hometown of San Antonio with her husband Rafael, with whom she shares four children. These days when she isn’t working, she can be found studying for the CPA exam. In her leisure time, Rebeca enjoys reading and cheering for the San Antonio Spurs.
